My mentor is really a newbie at being a mentor cause he brought me to the bank to apply for my student card, but he forgot to print out some important documents. It was not a wasted trip though. Together with Laurynas, we bought more bus tickets and a card to top up our phone value. We parted ways with Laurynas and i went to a studio to have my passport size photos taken. It was horrible cause i was having a bad hair day today. Still am! ):
We had lunch at the cafeteria again and later joined the school tour. During lunch, i called alien Ann. I topped up my card just so i can call her again but she did not pick up her phone. ): I assumed that she was sleeeeeping again. I drank beetroot soup with Sour Cream for lunch! sour cream! again! yummy!! Although i am starting to feel sick about eating beetroot already. Was never a fan of it.
As for the tour, it was one around the school library. Plenty of walking again. argh! Not to mention the constant climbing of many steep flight of steps. Real hassle. Mega killer. Pictures can talk - with the help of my captions of course!
The tour started at 2 and ended at 3 plus. We quickly looked for Asta as office closes at 3:15pm on fridays. She gave us some uber awesome news. hee! hee! Uber Awesome!!
Tonight we cooked dinner. Well, I did most of the cooking and Aik Hui helped to chop veggies and wash dishes. Next time will be his turn to cook. Ate so much today. Having slept all day due to the hang over, moo moo had a hearty appetite and ate a lot too! (:
somehow i can't flip this picture. a part of the library where i accidentally dropped my camera on a glass display and cursed f! d:
higher level in the library.
same part of the library.
really steep steps leading to the top of the tower in the library.
Haha, have you learned how to you a knife already? ;) Btw, cold beetroot soup is a lot nicer than the warm one... But in winter I guess noone drinks cold soups. We have loads of different cold soups, I bet you would like them, especially the sweet ones :P
ReplyDeleteHaha, you'll get used to it that in Lithuania we don't have escalators in 400 year old buildings :DDD But hey, there are just as many if not more stairs in FASS at NUS...
hahaha. yes. we're in the national university of stairs. (:
ReplyDeletewell, at least i appreciate elevators so much more now. come to think of it. i've not been in an elevator at all since coming here. (:
Go to any Akropolis or smth like that and you'll have plenty of them... Oh right, maybe not in Vilnius. In Kaunas Akropolis there are a lot more escalators ;D Oh, and as for elevators - well, we do have them in office buildings and in high apartments, but not everywhere.. It's healthy to use stars! :D
